7. Bellwether: go to Canal Plastics and check if they have bigger circle stencils. Print big 3-D A.V.A.F. sticker letters. Get ink-jet Pictorico adhesive paper at B+H. Paint “7” domino on wall to the left of projection. Collect projector and ceiling mount with Patrick. Paint “transporter” circles on the floor. Beam white, gray and black rays from corner to the left of the entrance and place various A.V.A.F stickers on top of them. Wallpaper the wall to the right of the room entrance with the “Peacock Ride Ons” piece? Produce a new “do-it-yourself” sticker for the show;
8. Work on skylight project and graffiti topiary for MacCarren swimming pool’s renovation. Document most graffitis at the pool and make drawings of them. Trace water and sea motifs from Tibetan Thangka paintings and draw sea life (octopus, fish, algae, etc). Mix all that together;
9. Get that big Latino-style gold earring with name on it and rhinestones that that big Italian guy with a moustache and blue short-sleeved Carhartt shirt was wearing at that hardware store on Metropolitan Avenue. Buy it at “Edwools Goldmine” on Graham Avenue;
10. Wallpaper: Reference: Renaissance Unicorn Tapestry from MusŽe du Moyen Age, Cluny, Paris: mille fleurs background on red, old and new A.V.A.F. elements (Carla, bugs, Studio 54 busboy, spoonbill, chandelier, Brazilian humming bird, Six Million Dollar Man’s computer, tons of different new flowers, Japanese tapestries lotus, Intruder, Wire’s “154” cover, etc). A bit like the A.V.A.F. shower curtain at Daniel. Get more and more flower images from Image Library. The red background should be a deep shade that is both attractive and difficult to look at. The “Ride On” logo should be placed in perspective like this floating little island where elements meet. Grass and trees pop out of it. Maybe make a drawing of the fence from The Cloisters’ “The Unicorn in Captivity” tapestry. Make everything look really busy, tight and overwhelming. Cover the whole space at Apex, floor to ceiling, with the wallpaper. Create more transformation images like the Green Skin Witch with Butterfly Wig vomiting a Bird’s Foot flower;
